The Challenge

Translating a New Vision into a Digital Experience

The HMR Foundation was about to write a new chapter in its history. With support from LG2, the organization embarked on a complete redesign of its image and positioning.

But one major challenge remained: how to bring this new identity to life through a modern, cohesive, and accessible digital presence—while empowering the internal team to manage the site autonomously and prepare for upcoming major campaigns?

Our Mission

Stabilize, modernize, and unify the Foundation’s digital ecosystem to support its new brand platform and amplify its long-term philanthropic impact.

From Technical Support to Strategic Partnership

Discutons de votre projet

At Carbonia, we don’t just code—we commit to our clients from start to finish. For the HMR Foundation, this philosophy took on its full meaning over a two-year period, from 2023 to 2025, and continues today as we support their new major fundraising campaign in 2026.

What began as a technical support engagement naturally evolved into a long-term strategic collaboration aligned with the Foundation’s new vision. Our role: ensure digital stability, then modernize and amplify the impact of their brand identity.

Complete Digital Ecosystem

  • //

    Stabilization and Support

We first ensured maintenance and essential adjustments on their existing WordPress site, while providing personalized training to the internal team.

This hands-on approach allowed us to deeply understand their challenges and ambitions.

  • //

    Strategic Collaboration with LG2

Born from a close collaboration with LG2, the new brand platform embodies humanity and vitality through vibrant colors: blue, bright red, orange, purple, and pink.

We worked hand in hand with one of Canada’s top creative agencies to translate this bold vision into a coherent, lively digital experience.

  • //

    Complete Modernization

The headless architecture recommended by LG2, combined with a modern and secure CMS like Sanity, allowed us to build a high-performing, scalable digital ecosystem.

We also redesigned the donation microsite to fully reflect the new brand identity and simplify the donor journey.

Modernizing the Identity, Amplifying the Impact

This redesign was not just about visuals—it was a true strategic transformation in service of their philanthropic mission. The new brand platform laid the groundwork for a historic 2025 fundraising campaign, marking a major milestone for healthcare in eastern Montreal.

Our role was to provide modern, intuitive technological tools while ensuring perfect alignment between the new visual identity, content, and user experience.

HMR Foundation Capture

Beyond Technology, A Partnership That Lasts

This project perfectly reflects our approach at Carbonia: we are not just technical executors but true strategic partners.

Designed to stand out in the Québec philanthropic landscape, the new website breaks away from traditional visual conventions to deliver an experience that is both human, distinctive, and technology-driven.

By working closely with LG2 and the HMR Foundation team, we adapted at every stage of the project—evolving from a technical support role to a key partnership in a large-scale digital transformation.
